In Cuba from November to April it is dry and from May to October it is wet.

Cuba is mostly flat however it has three big mountain ranges. In the Western region is the Sierra of Organs, in the centre is the Sierra of Escambray and in the Eastern region is the Sierra Maestra which includes Turquino Peak. Turquino Peak is the country's highest point with close to 2,000 meters above sea level.
